Job SummaryWe’re seeking an experienced Hospital Staff Credentialing Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for gathering, verifying, and maintaining credentialing files for physicians and allied health professionals. The ideal candidate will have hospital credentialing experience and be comfortable working with credentialing software.
Pay Range$22–26/hour, based on experience
Position DetailsThis is a remote position with a one‑week onsite training requirement.

- Process initial credentialing and recredentialing applications for providers.
- Verify and document licenses, education, certifications, and work history.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate provider records in credentialing systems.
- Monitor credential expirations and ensure timely renewals.
- Prepare files and documentation to support the onboarding process.
- Respond to internal requests for credentialing status or documentation.
- Minimum 2 years of medical staff credentialing experience (hospital setting strongly preferred).
- Experience with credentialing software systems (e.g., MD-Staff).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
