Certified Home Health Aid; CHHA

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking a Skilled Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to provide compassionate and meaningful care in Middlesex, Mercer, and Northern Monmouth Counties. Help seniors stay at home and age in place by supporting daily activities.

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• N.J. licensed as a Certified Home Health Aide.
• Completed 2-step PPD.
• Recent physical exam within the last 12 months.
• MMR vaccination.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Reliable transportation.

• Assist patients with daily functions such as dressing, bathing, and meals.
• Help plan and coordinate doctor’s appointments and transportation.
• Provide hourly or live‑in care as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping: dusting, mopping, laundry.
• Prepare and cook meals.
• Shop for groceries.
• Record and report patient health status to nursing staff.
• Teach patients self‑care skills.

• Full‑time, part‑time, or per‑diem hourly rate: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience and case.
