Dietitian; RD​/RDN - Hybrid

Position Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full‑time hybrid position at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center located in Kalkaska, MI. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely 50% of the time, and part‑time hours are also available.

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

• Meet eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire; in some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credential is required at the time of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice; in some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.

• Offer compassionate care to patients in the acute, subacute and long-term care setting.
• Support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
• Provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with the food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management.
• Ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld.

• Be a Registered Dietitian (or RD eligible) with a strong clinical knowledge base.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Have experience with regulatory accreditation and establishing and maintaining standards of care.
