On-Site Remote Patient Attendant

Position: On-Site Remote Patient Attendant, Full Time
University of Miami -  - Responsibilities:
Provide continuous visual patient observation and surveillance of assigned high risk patients from the monitoring station;
Verbally redirect patients via digital two-way audio device to prevent engagement in identifiable risk behaviors or imminent danger;
Notify the unit nursing team through communication devices if immediate assistance is required;
Utilize required technology for visualization and interventions for safe patient care in accordance with department standards;
Participate in hand-off of pertinent information/behavior about assigned patients at shift changes and admissions
