Schedule:
This role offers a consistent, condensed schedule with three 12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, totaling 36 hours per week, plus one additional 4-hour shift Monday–Friday between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM ET (based on scheduling needs and available openings). Weekend Shift
Hours:
Eastern (ET): 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM Central (CT): 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM Mountain (MT): 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Pacific (PT): 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM Each shift includes a 30-minute break. We welcome candidates across U.S. time zones. Candidates in Eastern and Central time zones are preferred, though Mountain and Pacific time zone candidates will be considered as long as they can consistently commit to the required schedule.
the Role
The Dispatcher will play a vital role in intake, triage and access to care for Cityblock’s members across the country, 24/7. The Care Traffic Control center coordinates the flow of in-field and virtual resources, connecting members with medical providers and care staff in a matter of minutes. Dependent upon the assessment of immediate needs, Dispatchers coordinate services and link members to care resources for prompt resolution or near-term follow-up.
Responsibilities- Screen requests for services from members.
- Coordinates assignment and flow of field and virtual care resources across several states, collaborating with field operations managers, coworkers, and Virtual Urgent Care to assign and initiate responses.
- Identifies and highlights issues of safety, service delivery, continuity of operations and escalates as necessary.
- Identifies risks of imminent life threats, self-harm or harm to others (including risks to those involved in follow-up care) and directs questioning; makes appropriate notifications.
- Completes assessment tools and documentation across multiple platforms.
5+ years of experience must have Paramedic or EMT license
