Role DescriptionThis contract role for a Speech Language Pathologist is a hybrid position based in Cumming, GA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders across a variety of ages and needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy sessions, and documenting progress in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
The role also involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support carryover of skills and optimize outcomes in home, school, and community environments. The Speech Language Pathologist will participate in team meetings, maintain accurate records, and stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy.
- Demonstrated skills in Speech Therapy and clinical management of Speech-related needs.
- Experience working with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in diverse client populations.
- Knowledge of assessment and treatment for Dysphagia and related feeding/swallowing challenges.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist in Georgia and ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
- Strong documentation, organization, and time-management skills in a clinical setting.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and families and work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, providing services both on-site in Cumming, GA and via telepractice as needed.
