About the Opportunity Are you an experienced caregiver who loves helping seniors but is ready to explore a career beyond direct care? Com For Care Home Care is looking for a Marketing & Sales Intern who has previous caregiving experience and wants to learn the business side of home care. This is the perfect opportunity for current or former caregivers who are looking for office experience, career growth, or a position between caregiving assignments.
You'll work alongside our leadership team, learning how to build referral relationships, educate the community, and help families find quality home care services.
What You'll Do
- Visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician offices, senior communities, and community organizations to introduce Com For Care 's services.
- Build relationships with referral partners and healthcare professionals.
- Represent Com For Care at health fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities.
- Follow up with prospective clients and referral sources.
- Assist with social media marketing and community engagement.
- Help distribute brochures, flyers, and marketing materials.
- Track marketing activities and referral leads.
- Learn the sales process for home care services.
- Support office operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous professional caregiving experience is required.
- CNA, PCA, HHA, DSP, or experienced caregiver preferred.
- Passion for helping seniors and their families.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals and community partners.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and social media).
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
