Sentara Medical Group is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer – Hybrid in Harrisonburg, VA! New Graduates Welcome to Apply! Position Highlights Full-time/40 hours a week.

Provides a combination of clinical and field-based athletic training support.

The ideal candidate must have schedule flexibility to support a 40-hour work week based on clinic operations, athletic events, and field coverage needs.

This is a great opportunity for a Certified Athletic Trainer who enjoys a diverse work environment and the opportunity to gain experience in both clinic and field settings.

Job Description As a Certified Athletic Trainer you will evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required

Certification/Licensure Board of Certification (BOC) certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) required

Virginia Athletic Trainer License required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
