Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.

Overview:

Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Anticipated Status/Shift: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Day Shift (8AM - 5PM), some shifts Mon-Fri with every 4th weekend

Position Location:

Sentara Hospice Services - Harrisonburg, VA (50-mile radius)
Pay Range: $15.75 - $20.46/hour

Education No specific education requirements

Certification/LicensureCNA (Required)
First Aid Basics Certification (Required)
BLS (Required within 90 days of hire)
Experience Previous Customer Service Experience (Required)
Prior Hospice or Home Health experience (Preferred):
