Cognizant is seeking an ER Medical Coder – E/M, Injections & Infusions, to join our remote team. You will review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM codes for outpatient surgery, ED, observation, and diagnostic encounters, using encoder tools in line with policies.
We require 2+ years outpatient coding experience, ED/E/M coding knowledge, and certifications such as CCS/RHIT/RHIA/CPC/COC. Strong communication, independence, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment are essential.
