Stormont Vail Health is seeking a HIM coder for Hospital Coding Services (PRN) with remote work options in Kansas. The role reviews medical records to assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, ensures accurate DRG assignment, and uses the EMR to document essential data. You will work with the CDI team and clinicians to clarify documentation as needed.
Required is a minimum of 2 years coding experience and knowledge of coding guidelines. AHIMA/AAPC credentials are preferred.
