The Field Clinical Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the individual supports clinicians and care teams with the safe and effective use of Nyxoah’s neuromodulation technologies, including Genio®. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing in-clinic and operating room support during procedures, assisting with device programming and troubleshooting, and offering technical guidance to healthcare professionals.

The role also involves collecting clinical and product performance data, contributing insights to research and development teams, and supporting training programs and educational sessions for clinical staff. The Field Clinical Engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.

• Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with the ability to understand medical devices and neuromodulation technologies.
• Experience or familiarity with clinical domains such as Medicine and Cardiology, preferably within sleep medicine, respiratory care, or related specialties.
• Background in Research and Development (R&D), including the ability to interpret clinical data and provide feedback on product performance and usability.
• Comfort working in an Operating Room or procedural environment, supporting clinicians during implantation and follow-up procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree or clinical certifications are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to clinical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed to support clinical sites and trainings.
• Prior experience with implantable medical devices, neuromodulation, or sleep apnea therapies is highly beneficial.
