Using a blend of mindfulness and cognitive approaches, the practice offers education, training, and therapeutic support to promote lasting well-being.
The Clinical Lead is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Greater Hartford area, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role includes providing direct clinical care through individual, family, and group therapy, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to ethical and regulatory standards. The Clinical Lead will offer clinical leadership by supervising or mentoring clinicians, supporting case consultation, and contributing to the development of therapeutic programs for both individual clients and organizational partners.
Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with the leadership team on clinical policies, quality improvement initiatives, and training curricula that integrate mindfulness and cognitive techniques. The role involves participating in community outreach and organizational wellness engagements, such as workshops, trainings, and educational sessions that promote mental health and resilience.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, convey clinical information clearly, and collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and organizational partners.
- Clinical medicine and behavioral health knowledge relevant to mental health treatment, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions.
- Experience with training and clinical education, such as providing supervision, facilitating workshops, or developing training materials for staff and community partners.
- Research and clinical research skills, including the ability to interpret current evidence, integrate best practices into care, and contribute to program evaluation or outcomes tracking.
- Advanced degree in a mental health field (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent) and active licensure or license eligibility in Connecticut.
- Demonstrated experience providing therapy to diverse populations, with sensitivity to gender, culture, and identity, and commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Background or interest in mindfulness-based and cognitive approaches to treatment and wellness programming.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage a clinical caseload, and maintain organized, timely documentation.
