Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Mental Health Therapist based in Lafayette, Opelousas, and Slidell, LA, with the flexibility to work from home part-time. The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining documentation in compliance with best practices and state regulations.
The therapist will play a key role in improving clients' mental health and overall well-being by offering compassionate and evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Case Management
- Experience in Social Work and Mental Health services
- Comprehensive skills in Family Therapy
- Ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients across diverse backgrounds
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensure as a counselor, therapist, or social worker (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Louisiana
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience working with trauma-informed care or other therapeutic modalities is a plus
