Build a practice that fits your life!

Bring your clinical expertise to a mission-driven organization while maintaining meaningful control over your schedule.

Making Opportunity Count (MOC) is seeking fee‑for‑service clinicians to provide high‑quality outpatient behavioral health care to children, adults, couples, families, and groups. This role offers strong hourly compensation, remote‑work flexibility, a welcoming and collaborative environment, and opportunities to grow your skills and career.

A mission with measurable impact.

MOC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families achieve economic security by eliminating barriers and creating opportunities. Our services span behavioral health, childcare, education, workforce development, nutrition, health, housing, and community support.

Why clinicians choose MOC
  • High fee-for-service rates, with separate compensation tiers for supervised master’s-level and independently licensed clinicians.
  • Flexible scheduling and remote-work options, while providing services to clients based in Massachusetts.
  • Clinical supervision and a supportive pathway toward independent licensure for eligible master’s-level clinicians.
  • Growth opportunities through consultation, training, interdisciplinary collaboration, and exposure to diverse programs and client populations.
  • A welcoming workplace committed to culturally responsive, trauma‑informed, person‑centered care.
  • Student loan support with real results! As a qualifying nonprofit employer, MOC supports employees pursuing Public Service Loan Forgiveness through a company paid student loan assistance service. To date, more than $4 million in student loan debt has been forgiven for MOC employees through applicable forgiveness programs.

Student loan forgiveness is governed by federal program requirements, including qualifying employment and hours. Participation in MOC’s support service does not guarantee forgiveness.

  • Serve diverse client populations, including children and adults, according to your competencies and assigned caseload.
  • Deliver telehealth services from a private, professional setting and maintain the technology needed for secure virtual care.
  • Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation within required time frames to support quality care, compliance, and billing.
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, community partners, and MOC colleagues.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and multidisciplinary teams on interventions, consultations, client needs, crisis response, and positive outcomes.
  • Participate, as applicable, in clinical supervision, peer consultation, utilization review, quality assurance, training, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Follow all ethical standards, licensing and supervision requirements, accreditation standards, privacy obligations, and organizational policies.

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related clinical field.
  • Knowledge of a range of clinical presentations and experience serving diverse client populations.
  • Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfort providing telehealth services and using an electronic health record.
