We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
Our Neuromodulation Operating Unit provides advanced therapies for chronic pain, movement disorders, and other neurological conditions. Through spinal cord stimulation, deep brain stimulation, and targeted drug delivery systems, we deliver personalized treatments that restore function, reduce symptoms, and improve quality of life worldwide.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Promote and sell Medtronic's Interventional products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including physicians.
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Interventional products and/or services.
- Organize meetings with physicians and other key opinion leaders in order to increase awareness of Medtronic's Interventional solutions.
- Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors activities.
- Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
- Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Qualifications - Must Have:Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years of experience*
- OR Associate's Degree AND 6+ years of experience*
- OR Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience*
- * Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Ortho, spine or O.R. experience
- Ability to sell in an environment where partnering with a surgeon is critical and ability to sell a new device or procedure
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in selling value-added programs
- Fully knowledgeable about the anatomy and capable of effectively explaining after the completion of sales training. After two weeks in the territory, should be able to describe the anatomy of the spine and anatomical landmarks necessary to instruct a surgeon on the use of Kyphon's products.
