About Open Train

Open Train is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help people discover specialized projects, build a unified portfolio, and grow a durable freelance career doing the human work that teaches AI systems.

We focus on creating reliable, long-term opportunities for subject‑matter experts who want flexible, remote contract work in the fast‑growing AI training industry.

About AI training work

AI training (aka data labeling or human feedback) is the human side of building AI: people prepare, review, and correct examples so models learn to give safe, accurate, and helpful outputs. Projects range from image annotation to clinical content review and RLHF.

This work is typically remote, flexible, and accessible—many projects need subject expertise (here, pharmacy/clinical knowledge) and pay competitive hourly rates for high‑skill review and annotation tasks.

The role

You will work as a US Pharmacist Clinical AI Reviewer focused on medication‑related clinical question answering. Your core job is to check AI‑generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, clarity, completeness, and evidence support, then correct and annotate them to meet project rubrics.

This is a contract, part‑time role open to pharmacists licensed in the United States who can apply clinical judgment to medication indications, dosing, interactions, contraindications, and medication access scenarios.

What you’ll do
  • Answer medication‑related clinical questions using patient context, source materials, and labeling guidelines.
  • Review AI‑generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, clarity, completeness, and evidence support.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete responses and provide structured annotations and written feedback.
  • Identify and elevate cases with insufficient evidence, conflicting guidance, unclear clinical context, or patient safety concerns.
  • Apply project rubrics and quality standards consistently and participate in calibration and feedback sessions.
  • Work on topics such as indications, dosing recommendations, contraindications, drug interactions, treatment history, prior authorization criteria, and supporting clinical documentation.
Requirements

This role requires active, verifiable clinical credentials and hands‑on pharmacy experience. You must be able to apply structured annotation guidelines and explain clinical reasoning in writing.

  • Active US pharmacist license or PharmD-equivalent clinical training.
  • Strong experience with medications, pharmacy workflows, and clinical decision‑making.
  • Excellent understanding of drug interactions, contraindications, and prescribing guidelines.
  • Strong written clinical communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable following structured annotation guidelines and delivering clear feedback.
  • Availability for at least 20 hours per week; hiring typically expects availability up to 30-40 hours/week.
  • Work location:

    United States (remote).
Helpful background (preferred)
  • Prior authorization or specialty pharmacy experience.
  • Managed care, medication access, or 340B/assistance program experience.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Experience with clinical quality assurance, AI evaluation, or healthcare data annotation.
Compensation, schedule, and how it works

Compensation is $70.00 USD per hour as a contract, part‑time contributor. You will be engaged by Open Train AI as an independent contractor.

Work is remote and requires reliable internet, secure handling of clinical information, and participation in calibration or training sessions. Open Train will provide project rubrics, training materials, and feedback cycles to maintain quality and consistency.
