Cognizant is seeking an ER Medical Coder – E/M, Injections & Infusions to support healthcare clients remotely. You will review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM codes for ED, outpatient surgery, observation, and diagnostic encounters, using electronic encoder tools in line with policy and regulatory guidelines.
You will communicate with physicians for clarifications, perform peer reviews, and generate coding-related reports.
