Setting and Location for Speech Language Pathologist Jobs

Choose from school-based preschool and childcare centers across Central, New York, including in East Syracuse, Baldwinsville, Fulton,Oswego, Camillus, Pulaski, and Watertown. Travelingitinerant home positions are also available in full time orpart time.

About the Speech Language Pathologist Role

Weare on the lookout for a Speech Language Pathologist to join ourpreschool team. In this role, you will work with our phenomenal teamof Special Education Teachers, Certified Lead Preschool Teachers,Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, School Psychologist, and Certified Teacher Assistants to support the children in our care.

Provide exceptional care: support and develop the speech, language, and swallowing needs fortoddlers and children, ages 18 months to 5 years. (80% time)

• Support all aspects of each preschool child'streatment by collaborating with other care team members including Special Education Teachers, PTs, OTs, and School Psychologist.
• Document your work including sessionnotes, care plans and ongoing progress with high levels of accuracy and timeliness in our paperless electronic health record system.

Support innovation and growth: provideinstrumental guidance on our SLP workflows and tools to helpus improve and grow. (15% time)

• Engage in testing, iterating and feedback to help develop our SLP programing.
• Maintain your NYS SLP license and Speech Teacher Certification to continue to support families that trust us withtheir child’s care.

Collaborate with your peers: come tocare team meetings ready to learn, teach, and communicate. (5% time)
