We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you’ll be a key part of the patient journey—ensuring a smooth, informed, and positive start to care.

What You’ll Do- Guide new patients through the intake process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance benefits across multiple payers, including coverage for medications and therapies
- Request and track prior authorizations, proactively managing renewals before expiration
- Enter and maintain patient information in electronic systems with a high level of accuracy
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding coverage details and expected out-of-pocket costs
- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure a seamless transition into care
- Navigate multiple insurance portals and websites daily
- Deliver exceptional customer service that enhances the overall patient experience
- Experience in a customer service role; background as a medical receptionist or intake coordinator is highly preferred
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Solid understanding of insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and coverage terminology
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Clear, compassionate communication skills—both verbal and written
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior authorization experience: 1 year (required)
- Insurance benefits verification: 2 years (required)
- IV infusion experience: 1 year (preferred)
