Position Name: Psychological Assessment Clinical Supervisor

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid) - 2-3 days onsite per week.

Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) | Outpatient Behavioral Health

Pay: $130,000-$135,000 annually + Potential Sign-On Bonus

Shift: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:30 PM | No Weekends | No On-Call (Emergency Situations Only)

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.

    D. in Clinical Psychology.
  • Active, unrestricted Psychologist license through the California Board of Psychology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of psychological testing experience, including neuropsychological testing and comprehensive report writing.
  • Experience administering and interpreting neuropsychological assessments utilizing standardized testing instruments such as WAIS, D-KEFS, MMPI, MCMI, REY, ADHD, personality, intelligence, and performance validity assessments.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to licensed or pre-licensed clinicians, including supervision of psychological and neuropsychological testing.
  • Experience developing psychological assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and providing individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy.
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR); EPIC experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2-3 onsite days per week.

Preferred:

  • Experience working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), community mental health, county behavioral health, or other safety-net healthcare setting.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness (SMI).
  • Experience supervising doctoral psychology interns within an APA-accredited internship or training program.
  • Experience working with culturally diverse and multilingual populations.
  • Bilingual language skills are highly preferred.

Job Summary:

  • Provide clinical supervision, consultation, mentorship, and professional development to psychology interns, trainees, and behavioral health staff while supporting an APA-accredited psychology internship program.
  • Oversee psychological and neuropsychological assessment services, including review of testing batteries, clinical documentation, reports, diagnostic formulations, and treatment recommendations to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations while maintaining a small direct therapy caseload and providing culturally responsive individual, family, and group psychotherapy services.
  • Develop diagnostic assessments, individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
  • Facilitate clinical trainings, didactic education sessions, and ongoing staff development while supporting intern and trainee evaluations for Master's and Doctoral psychology programs.
  • Complete documentation in compliance with Medi-Cal, state regulatory requirements, and organizational standards while maintaining timely and accurate clinical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, obtain and maintain LPS 5150 certification, and provide clinical leadership across behavioral health programs serving diverse, multilingual patient populations.
