Location: North Platte, Nebraska
Position Type: 13-Week Contract
Weekly Gross: $1,600–$1,650
We are actively seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a healthcare facility in North Platte, Nebraska for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated rehabilitation team while helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall functional independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities:Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional performance
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety precautions
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and healthcare staff to support quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
RequirementsQualifications:
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS Certification (if required by facility)
SNF experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
