Respiratory Therapist or RN – Home Healthcare

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you'll provide in-home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other advanced equipment.

You'll be part of a team that values autonomy, patient education, and personalized care. At this location, this position pays $35.00 to $39.00 per hour, depending on related experience, and is eligible for a bonus opportunity.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment.
• Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions.
• Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive a vehicle for home visits (as needed).
• Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.

• Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Required Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Credentials as a respiratory therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is preferred but other medical credentials may be acceptable (e.g., RC, RN, LPN, LPV) depending upon state licensure laws
• Must be licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law and provide a copy of license to the location
• May be required to obtain license in neighboring states as required by service area of location

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• Completion of an accredited program/degree in respiratory care preferred
• Nursing or other paramedical training may be acceptable depending upon state licensure laws
• Home respiratory care experience is preferred
• Degree in respiratory therapy or related science is preferred
• One year of related work experience, preferred
