Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring Medical Billers in West Knoxville, TN! This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to grow their healthcare administration career in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Training will begin onsite, and once training is successfully completed, employees may have the opportunity to transition into a remote or hybrid schedule.

We are looking for motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy problem-solving, working with insurance claims, and helping support the healthcare revenue cycle process.

What You’ll Do

Process and follow up on patient billing and insurance claims

Review accounts and identify billing or reimbursement issues

Work with insurance carriers to understand payer requirements and resolve claim concerns

Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow state and federal billing guidelines

Communicate professionally with patients, providers, coworkers, and healthcare facilities

Assist with account follow-up to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support department goals

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience required

Knowledge of medical terminology and claims processing preferred

Familiarity with insurance plans, payer requirements, and collection practices preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and in a team-focused environment

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
