Associate Director, Encounter Data Management

Become a part of our caring community The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management develops business processes to ensure successful submission and reconciliation of encounter submissions to Medicaid/Medicare. Ensures encounter submissions meet or exceed all compliance standards via analysis of data, and develops tools to enhance the encounter acceptance rate by Medicaid/Medicare. Looks for long term improvements of encounter submission processes. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

This is a remote position. The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management ensures data integrity for claims errors. The Associate Director, Encounter Data Management requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s). This position reports to the Director, Encounter Data Management. Use your skills to make an impact

• 4 years of product management leadership experience
• 2 years of agile leadership experience
• 4 years of people‑leadership or team management experience
• 2 years of project management leadership experience

• Encounter data knowledge
• Claims processing knowledge

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
