The Advanced Medical Support Assistant (AMSA) works collaboratively with Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) in the Geriatrics and Extended Care Service (GECS). Under the supervision of the HBPC program Director, AMSA handles inquiries from patients, caregivers, VA staff, and other agencies, routing questions to clinical staff and coordinating care across multiple clinics.
