Speech Language Pathologist/Assistant

Connected Hearts Pediatric therapy is a mobile pediatric therapy company providing home based/school based services to children and families in Palm Beach County and its' surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized speech and language therapy services to children in our community. We pride ourselves in being a neurodiversity affirming practice and believe in implementing child-led, strength based treatment methods.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/Assistant in this role, you will have the flexibility to design your own schedule while traveling between clients' homes and schools. This is a unique opportunity for those who value work-life balance and wish to tailor their caseload according to their preferences. Whether you're looking to grow as more hours/clients are referred, or maintain a smaller, more manageable caseload, this position offers the flexibility to meet your professional goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to pediatric clients in their homes and schools.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive and effective therapy.
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language therapy and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and FL state licensure required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and implementation of neurodiversity-affirming practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a flexible schedule effectively.
