Job Title
Under the direct supervision of the Reentry Services Director, this position oversees the Juno House transitional housing program, supervises the GHS Reentry Case Managers, and provides direct case management services when necessary. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and eligible for overtime pay.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Remote Work Potential:
None unless approved in writing in advance on a case-by-case basis. All permanent changes in work schedule must be approved in advance with a written employment agreement.
Illustrative Tasks:
1. Supervisory Duties:
- Hires, trains, and ensures consistent, documented orientation for all new employees.
- Develops employee training plans and completes annual employee performance reviews.
- Approves staff leave requests and ensures that all positions are adequately covered.
- Facilitates documented individual supervision and team meetings.
- Ensures timely, thorough, and accurate payroll documentation.
- Provides consistent supervision and feedback and documents all performance issues and employee concerns in a timely manner.
- Addresses all training and continuing education needs and monitors tracking to ensure that employees complete the required enrollments, coursework & training for their positions.
- Ensures that staff follow GHS and ADOC policies, respect client and staff privacy, and adhere to confidentiality regulations including HIPAA, 42 CFR part 2, and mandated reporter requirements.
- Attends weekly leadership development meetings and represents the Reentry Case Management team as requested.
- Serves on the GHS Safety Committee and helps ensure that all required drills and emergency training are completed and documented on time.
2. Juno House/HAP/ESG Duties:
- Screens Juno House applications and assists with resident interviews and terminations as needed.
- Ensures that all Juno House resident data is entered into the Alaska Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) accurately and on time according to current State standards.
- Submits quarterly program data and other requested information for all housing-related grants and contracts as requested.
- Ensures that all monthly unit inspections, urinalysis screenings, and emergency drills are completed and documented on time.
- Regularly meets with the Juno House peer monitor and Juno House/CRC residents to solicit feedback and use their input to improve program services.
- Collects external backup information from partner agencies.
3. Ensures timely, thorough and person-centered documentation for GHS resident orientation, screening and programming.
- Provides insight and advice on Juno House client admissions and discharges.
- Provides training and guidance to assist GHS residents in developing realistic career, housing, educational, and treatment goals.
- Ensures that incident reports are completed as needed and distributed according to current policies and procedures.
- Ensures that case management staff assist residents to complete applications for community resources such as: TBRA, Public Assistance, SSI, birth certificates, Medicaid, housing applications, and training and educational endeavors.
4. Ensures case management compliance with all ADOC requirements for CRC residents.
- Reviews CRC Case Management monthly progress and discharge reports for timeliness, content, and completeness.
- Reviews CRC resident employer contact logs.
- Reviews case files of subordinates to assure that individualized case management plans contain clear program goals, including written budget/savings plans.
- Ensures that all program changes are discussed with the GHS resident, signed by the GHS resident and Case Manager, and comply with Department of Corrections (DOC) standards.
- Assures that all CRC residents have accurate monthly summaries which are provided to DOC in a timely manner.
- Assures that the case management team provides a pre-release plan session for residents consistent with DOC requirements.
- Ensures that case managers monitor CRC resident finances and authorize weekly resident check requests including restitution requirements.
