Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in San Francisco, CA. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to address musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional limitations. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, documenting clinical findings, tracking patient progress, and adjusting interventions based on outcomes and evidence-based guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with referring providers, support staff, and caregivers to coordinate care, educate patients on home exercise programs, and promote long-term wellness.
The Physical Therapist will also participate in team meetings, maintain regulatory and ethical standards, and contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic culture.
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge to diverse patient conditions.
- Expertise in Rehabilitation, including designing and implementing individualized treatment and exercise programs.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Patient Care, emphasizing safety, respect, and clear communication.
- Experience or interest in Home Care, including educating patients and caregivers on safe and effective home-based exercises.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
- Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and manage a varied caseload.
- Continued interest in professional development and staying current with evidence-based practice.
