About this Role

The Program Officer at Episcopal Health Foundation is instrumental in advancing the foundation’s strategic objectives by managing a diverse portfolio of grants and initiatives that address health inequities within Texas. This position requires translating the high-level strategic vision of EHF into actionable outcomes that are effective and sustainable, meeting emerging opportunities in community health. The role is central to establishing and maintaining trust-based partnerships with grantee organizations, peer funders, and leaders in healthcare and non-medical health drivers.

Program Officers work closely with stakeholders to foster collaborations and drive change in health systems through actionable and strategic endeavors.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of grants focusing on health inequities.
  • Translate strategic framework into actionable and sustainable results.
  • Establish trust-based relationships with grantees and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and non-healthcare entities to address root causes of health issues.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of active projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in managing health-related projects.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Experience in grant management and non-profit organizations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
