Massachusetts General Hospital - 1153 Centre Street - Responsibilities:
Assist with patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and perform delegated clinical tasks such as blood glucose monitoring, completing EKGs, applying simple dressings, and using aseptic technique;
Respond to medical emergency situations utilizing Heartsaver CPR and AED skills;
Provide 1:1 monitoring as a patient observer for patients at risk for injury;
Maintain patient safety, assist with admission/discharge/transfer, and ensure patient and family education;
Assist in coordinating care, communicating with the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor, and maintaining unit organization and cleanliness
