What if your expertise in epidemiology could directly shape how population-level health data is understood, interpreted, and acted upon? We're looking for a Senior Epidemiologist to evaluate complex epidemiological models, dissect study designs, and surface the insights that drive real public health decisions.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for experienced epidemiologists who want meaningful, intellectually rigorous work — on their own schedule.

What You ll Do
  • Review and validate epidemiological models, including underlying assumptions and analytical frameworks
  • Interpret population-level health data and identify the key drivers behind observed trends
  • Assess study methodology for sources of bias, confounding, and misclassification
  • Summarize findings in structured, scientifically precise formats suitable for expert audiences
  • Evaluate relationships between interventions, risk factors, and health outcomes
  • Support recurring reviews of surveillance data and public health reports
Who You Are
  • Deep background in epidemiology, public health, or biostatistics
  • Strong command of study design, statistical inference, and causal reasoning
  • Experienced analyzing large, complex health datasets with rigor and precision
  • Able to communicate nuanced scientific findings clearly and concisely
  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently on substantive analytical tasks
Nice to Have
  • Experience in infectious disease modeling or clinical epidemiology
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems or public health data infrastructure
  • Background in peer review, scientific writing, or health policy analysis
