DescriptionResponsible for management of HIM applications and data management. Manages HIM System Analysts supporting all HIM services, functions, reports and analytical data. Manages HIM analytics reporting, HIM applications, and HIM access. Primary HIM Liaison working with IT to ensure successful BHSF projects, new systems implementation, system upgrades, and proper maintenance. Ensures HIM successful transition of services related to acquisitions and/or new services.
Responsible for HIM projects assists with planning and overseeing all aspects of projects including documentation of issues, follow-up, and resolution. Also supports BHSF projects and initiatives needing Project Manager knowledge and expertise and establishing appropriate system user access. Estimated salary range for this position is $96682.12 - $125686.76 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications
Degrees:
- Bachelors.
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s degree in HIM Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science or Engineering required.
- Master‘s Information Science (MIS), preferred.
- Certified project manager professional (PMP/PRINCE II) preferred.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, analytical, & multitasking skills.
- Required 10 years experience in a large, multi-hospital health system with extensive knowledge in HL7 interface application, EMR integration, database structures & schema, & computer scripting.
- Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on-experience in software development & web technologies.
- Excellent client facing & internal communication skills & written & verbal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal & external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Must be able to work under pressure & meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude & providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently & to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, & standard accepted practices.
