Powers Health seeks a remote Coder II - Inpatient responsible for accurately assigning ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for inpatient encounters in accordance with official guidelines, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
You will review EMR records, determine the appropriate codes, complete queries with the Clinical Documentation Improvement team, and ensure documentation supports DRG assignment, CMI, severity of illness and mortality scoring.
