Remote Medical Billing Specialist

Processing and auditing insurance claims in a remote capacity, the full-time Remote Medical Billing Specialist will ensure accuracy and compliance while collaborating with internal teams and payers for timely reimbursements.

• Processes and submits primary and secondary insurance claims accurately and on time, adhering to payer guidelines
• Reviews and resolves claim errors, denials, and rejections, making necessary corrections and resubmitting claims
• Maintains knowledge of billing regulations and utilizes electronic billing systems to analyze and transmit claims

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• Associate Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing, or a related field preferred
• 0-1 years of experience in medical billing or insurance claims processing required
• 1-3 years of billing experience in a medical facility preferred
• Experience with hospital or physician billing and knowledge of electronic claims systems preferred
