Lead Irb Coordinator

Lead IRB Coordinator West Reading, Pennsylvania Flexible work from home days Required to be on site at least one day per week (at Reading Hospital location).

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Director, Human Subject Protections (Director) and works closely with the IRB Coordinator I, Chair and members of the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
• Responsible for pre-review of items submitted for review by the IRB to confirm compliance with institutional, federal, and state policies.
• Communicates with research investigators and their staff in an effort to facilitate the protocol submission, review and approval process.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

• 4 year Bachelor's Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

• IRB Manager Experience Preferred
• Post Approval Monitoring Experience Preferred
• Broad Research Administration Experience Preferred

Certification and Licensure:

• CIP certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire) Required
