This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content and Training Specialist, Clinical Indication based in United States.

This role supports clinical teams by creating, maintaining, and delivering high-quality educational and operational content.
You will help ensure that clinical reference materials, training programs, and workflows remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with current standards.
The position combines clinical genetics expertise with training, quality assurance, and process improvement responsibilities.
You will work closely with genetic counselors, laboratory teams, quality specialists, and operational stakeholders to strengthen clinical support capabilities.
The role offers an opportunity to simplify complex scientific information and translate it into practical resources that teams can apply confidently.
You will also contribute to workflow optimization, audit readiness, and scalable improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
This is a remote position suited to an experienced genetic counseling professional who enjoys education, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Accountabilities
  • Curate, create, maintain, and update internal clinical reference materials, including SOPs, quick reference guides, workflow documentation, and other operational resources.
  • Develop educational and training content that supports onboarding, ongoing development, and consistent execution across clinical support teams.
  • Deliver virtual, hybrid, or in-person training sessions for genetic counselors, genetic counselor assistants, and other clinical support professionals.
  • Assess training effectiveness, identify knowledge gaps, and recommend retraining, workflow reinforcement, or other improvement opportunities.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives, including audit readiness, documentation updates, and corrective and preventive actions.
  • Serve as a clinical subject matter expert on cross-functional initiatives involving workflow optimization, system improvements, and operational enhancements.
  • Partner with laboratory and clinical teams to ensure educational materials and workflow documentation accurately reflect current practices and operational standards.
  • Support clinical process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency, reduce errors, improve consistency, and enable scalable operations.
  • Provide education, guidance, and ongoing support to new clinical team members and trainees.
  • Collaborate across clinical, laboratory, quality, and operational functions to identify workflow gaps and develop practical solutions.
  • Ensure content and training activities comply with applicable policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant clinical and laboratory standards.
  • Contribute to additional team and organizational initiatives as needed, adapting responsibilities as operational priorities evolve.
Requirements
  • 8–10+ years of experience working in a clinical genetic testing laboratory environment.
  • Master of Science or Master of Arts degree in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or equivalent.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Genetic Counseling through ABMGG or ABGC.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical and laboratory genetics and the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, practical information.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and quality standards relevant to genetic testing laboratories, including CLIA and CAP requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, accurate, and engaging educational materials.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing clinical content, documentation, and workflow resources.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical, laboratory, quality, and operational stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems, document management platforms, and standard computer applications.
