Position: Clinical Supervisor (SUD)

Clinical Supervisor (SUD)

Raleigh, North Carolina

At Steadfast Health we're on a mission to deliver hope, healing, and long-term health to those experiencing substance use disorder, through best-in-class addiction treatment and an unwavering belief that lasting recovery comes from partnering with our patients as respected equals in their care journey. We're a passionate team striving to raise the standard of compassionate care for our patients, and we know that to do that, we must care for our people first.

We'd love to meet you and tell you about what we're building!

This Role

We are seeking a mission-driven Behavioral Health Supervisor to join our founding Raleigh team, leading our clinicians and delivering whole-person, trauma-informed care to individuals with substance use disorders. At Steadfast Health, we believe that clinicians shouldn't have to choose between patient-centered work and their own mental and financial wellbeing. That's why we're doing things differently, through an integrated, evidence-based behavioral health model that deeply supports both patients and clinicians.

For our clinicians, that means compassionate, expert clinical support, competitive compensation, caseloads that prioritize quality over quantity and preserve time for recovery, generous and flexible time off policies, and financial investment in your ongoing professional development.

This is a brand-new clinic with no existing census: you'll start with little to no caseload, and your clinical caseload will grow gradually as patients enroll, consistent with our organization-wide commitment to caseloads that prioritize quality of care over volume. In parallel, your supervisory scope will grow as we add clinical staff.

As a founding member of our Raleigh team, you'll have real influence over how our clinical program, supervision practices, and team culture take shape in a brand-new market — not just execute on an existing playbook.

Compensation
  • Base salary range: $80,000 – $95,000, based on licensure, supervisory credential, and years of relevant SUD experience.
  • Performance incentive: monthly incentive up to 5% of base salary, tied to clinic-level KPIs - This is a shared, clinic-level metric, rather then a individual productivity quota.
  • Sign-on bonus: $2,000.
Location & Schedule

3284 Barrett Dr., Suite 310, Raleigh, NC 27609 — North Carolina requires an operating clinic location on file to apply for our facility license, so we're opening here first. We'll relocate to our permanent site at 3540 Maitland Dr #102, Raleigh, NC 27610 once that license and build-out are complete, anticipated around December.

Monday – Friday, 8:30a – 5:00p EST, with one work-from-home day per week.

Required Licensure & Supervisory Credential

Because this role provides board-approved clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians, candidates must hold both an active, independent North Carolina clinical license and the specific supervisory credential recognized by that license's board. You must hold at least one of the following:

  • LCSW (NC) with a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical practice and an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, in good standing with the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board — eligible to supervise LCSW Associates (LCSWA).
  • LCMHCS (NC) — the NC Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors' supervisor credential, required to supervise LCMHC Associates (LCMHCA). An LCMHC license alone, without the LCMHCS credential, does not qualify.
  • LMFT (NC) with board-approved supervisor status (LMFT-S) — required to supervise LMFT Associates (LMFTA).
Your Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision & Leadership

  • Provide board-approved clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians through weekly individual and group supervision, in compliance with all applicable NC board requirements.
  • Manage clinician caseloads and ensure behavioral health staff adherence to treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director, Peer Supervisor, and Facility Administrator or Operations Director to align clinical care and operational goals.
  • Maintain all required supervision documentation, contracts, and reporting per NC board standards.
