At our outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic, you will work with individuals in need of general on-going counseling and mental health crises, providing immediate clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and stabilization planning. This role is essential to helping patients regain safety, hope, and direction—when they need it most.

Location:
Kernersville, North Carolina
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and identify treatment needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, clinical needs, and developmental considerations.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy as appropriate.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
- Establish trusting therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.
- Provide age-appropriate interventions that promote coping skills, emotional regulation, resilience, and healthy development.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches as clinically appropriate.
- Coordinate care and collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, families, schools, and other community resources as appropriate.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and make appropriate referrals or recommendations for a higher level of care when needed.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation.
- Participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.

- Education:
Graduate Degree, required. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field. - Experience:
Minimum of three years experience, required. - Licensure/Certification:
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor or Clinic Phd/PsyD level Psychologist, required. For the Substance Use Therapist role, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate with above required license, preferred. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire. Team members in strictly remote positions are exempt.
Team members working strictly in behavioral health outpatient clinics are exempt from state approved curricula but are required to take NEC
0170 De-escalation Techniques and Effective Communication Strategies within 3 months of hire, required. - Additional Skills (required):
Good working knowledge of computers. Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations.
