Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing hands-on therapy to assist patients in improving their physical function and reducing pain.
  • Documenting all therapy sessions and patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring precise communication and continuity of care.
  • Educating patients and their families about effective home-based exercise and self-care strategies for continued recovery.
  • Collaborating with other health professionals to devise a cohesive treatment strategy for each patient.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse array of patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative procedures, and chronic conditions. Your role is pivotal in guiding patients through their recovery journey, providing them with the tools necessary to regain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (a Master's or Doctorate preferred).
  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Michigan.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with patients and team members.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure productivity while providing quality care.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
