MPOWER Physical Therapy is looking for a Physical Therapy Scheduler Specialist to join our team! This is a Monday–Friday, full-time position with the potential to become remote after successful completion of training. Training will take place in person at our Midtown Nashville location and may last up to 90 days.

Please note:
Candidates must currently live in Tennessee or be relocating to Tennessee to be considered.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and team members
- Meet or exceed productivity and performance goals
- Promptly answer incoming calls, voicemails, and emails
- Schedule Physical Therapy evaluations and help patients choose the appropriate MPOWER clinic based on insurance, physician recommendations, patient needs, clinic availability, and patient preference
- Update physician clinic teams and electronic medical records with evaluation dates and clinic locations
- Manage daily incoming calls through the Therapy Scheduling phone queue
- Work closely with team members to ensure phone coverage during business hours
- Support other Therapy Scheduling team members after completing primary responsibilities
- Recommend and maintain updates to the outside therapy clinic referral list
- Follow assigned work schedules and department procedures
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings
- Follow MPOWER's Telework Policy and remote-work expectations
- Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by the Therapy Scheduling Supervisor or Senior Director of Operations

- In-person training at our Midtown Nashville location
- Potential for remote work after successful completion of training, which may take up to 90 days
- High School diploma is required
- Bachelor’s from an accredited university is preferred
- Training or experience in a fitness center, therapy clinic, or orthopedic clinic is preferred
- Excellent follow up skills with patients, clients and fellow team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time appropriately
- Interest and passion for personal health and wellness
- Kind and helpful personality
- Ability to handle difficult people and situations
- Comfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and various internet applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Neat and professional appearance
