Therapist – Intensive Foster Care

Salary: $60,000 - $66,500

We are hiring for a new therapist to be part of a transformative team working with our Intensive Foster Care Program. This role will provide client-centered and effective services to children and their families to increase permanency and create safe and nurturing environments!

As a therapist in our Intensive Foster Care Program you will:

• Acts as a liaison between The Villages' families and referring agencies, the children's families, schools, community resources and The Villages' administrative staff.
• Assess the child and/or family needs, provision of counseling (including Medicaid billing and documentation), case management services using a child/family team approach; monitoring child/family progress.
• Provide therapeutic supervision for visitation sessions.
• Responsible for ensuring the implementation of comprehensive services.
• Develop SMART treatment plans that are monitored for completion per service standards.
• Home based work required
• Thorough documentation as defined by program and service standard

On call, with nights and weekends is required

Position Requirements

• Master's degree in Social work with an emphasis on clinical practice, Clinical or counseling psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Training and experience in child, adult, and family therapy/counseling
• Licensure through one of the following Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board:
  Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW), LMFT, LMFTA, LMHC, or LMCHA

Preferred Experience:

• Two years previous experience in either foster care or social services
• Previous experience in foster care, social services, behavioral health, or clinical setting
