Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for our Home based
Pediatric cases in Brooklyn.
This position offersa base salary of $80,000.00plus an excellent benefits package which includes:
Medical and Dental insurance, 401k Plan after only 3 Months of Employment, 27 Paid Time Off Days, 10 Paid Holidays.The option to cover Case Load on Weekends is available.
Our part-time and full-time positions offer therapists the option to have a
Personal Driver
pick you up from your home ( Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx ) and drive you to your cases and then back home. Currently, we are the only agency in New York that offers this unique door-to-door chauffeur service!
Job Description:
Assessing under the OT Supervisor the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
Identifying the patients Sensory Integration processing needs.
Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.
Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.
Qualifications:
- Certified by The State of New York as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- In-person
- Master's (Preferred)
- Occupational Therapy License (Required)
