Job Description
We are seeking alicensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide pediatric occupational therapy services for Early Intervention (birth–3) and school-age students across home,school, and community settings on Long Island. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, fine motor and visual-motor deficits, and functional skill needs. This role emphasizes practical, individualized interventions that support participation in daily routines, academic tasks, and age-appropriate activities.
The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with families, educators, service coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent and effective service delivery across environments.
Responsibilities include:- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualizedtreatment plans for EI and school-age students
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in home-based EI andschool-based or community settings
- Address finemotor skills, sensory processing, self-care, play, and functional participation
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support carryover of skills
- Complete required documentation including evaluations, session notes,and progress reports
- Provide consultation and strategies to caregivers and school staff as appropriate
- Maintain ethicaland professional standards in accordance with New York Stateand AOTA guidelines
- Current New York State Occupational Therapist license required
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Pediatric experience preferred; EI and/orschool-based experience a plus but not required
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple settings while collaborating with a team

Pay: $68–$82 per hour (based on experience, setting, and certifications)
