Occupational Therapist- Mobile Outpatient
Location: Metro West, MA – Mobile Outpatient Services (In-Home & Community-Based)
Employment Type: W2 Employee – Part-Time or Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate OT or OTA who loves working with older adults, particularly those with dementia, and who is eager to advance dementia-focused practices. As part of our growing mobile OT team, you will have the opportunity to develop clinical specialties, make a meaningful impact, and collaborate with a supportive, like-minded team.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, home-based occupational therapy for adults with cognitive, functional, and neurological changes.
- Deliver specialized interventions including dementia care programs (e.g., Skills2
Care®), lymphedema support, adaptive equipment training, and functional skill development. - Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support independence, safety, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, caregivers, and community partners to provide holistic care.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards and company policies.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and community education events.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited OT or OTA program.
- Active Massachusetts OT or OTA license in good standing.
- Passion for geriatrics and dementia care, with a willingness to advance dementia-focused practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide services independently in client homes and community settings.
- Commitment to collaborative, client-centered care and professional growth.
