Compensation Grade: P16 Compensation Details:
Minimum: $62,514.00 - Maximum: $62,514.00 Annually Positions with a designated work location in New York City, Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties will receive a $4,000 annual downstate adjustment (pro-rated for part-time positions).

Job Description:

Responsibilities

The Program Assistant I will provide administrative and programmatic support within the AIDS Institute’s Office of Grants, Data Management and Quality. Responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and implementation of quality improvement technical assistance capacity building programs, including learning collaboratives and quality improvement trainings; coordinating meeting content and trainings with providers and staff; assisting in providing technical assistance to providers;

assisting with the development of program materials (e.g., presentations, data analyses, monitoring and evaluation reports) and communications with participants, funders, AIDS Institute staff, and external stakeholders (e.g., via reports, email communications); and participating in special projects,. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of administrative and/or financial experience, human resources, operations or other program activities; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and three years of such experience; OR five years of such experience.
  • A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in public health.
  • Experience in quality improvement.
  • Experience with clinical quality management expectations in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program-funded settings.
  • Experience supporting the planning and implementation of learning collaboratives specific to improving HIV care and treatment.
  • Experience communicating with various audiences.
  • Experience with data reporting, data quality and analyses.
  • Experience facilitating training content.
  • Experience presenting at conferences.
  • Experience supporting literature reviews and publications.
  • Experience collecting quantitative and qualitative data, including participant feedback.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, including, but not limited to: MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position.

Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Travel up to 25% of the time will be required.

The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states:
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.

This position will become eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with a combination of onsite and remote work, after a waiting period of approximately one week, subject to satisfactory job performance, management approval and operational needs.
