Family Centered Clinician

Mentor Behavioral Health, a part of the Sevita family, provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and Behavioral Health services to children, individuals and families. We believe every person has the right to live well and everyone deserves a fulfilling career.

This role covers Mount Vernon, Coshocton, Zanesville, and Newark.

• Complete diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop treatment plans based on assessment of strengths, needs, collaboration with referral agencies, and collaboration with the individual served.
• Provide activity and participation-based interventions and approaches developed from training materials, experience, and individual and/or families’ successes.
• Make referrals to services and resources on behalf of individuals and/or families served.
• Ensure confidential documentation and records are kept, organized, and submitted to supervisor accurately and timely.
• Participate in team meetings with peers and collateral team meetings when needed.
• Support peer development by addressing areas of concern for professional development and team performance issues.
• Provide an aftercare plan for each family/individual served.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners from referring/collateral agencies and guide the family in their interaction with these agencies.

• LPC, MFT or LSW required.
• Two years of related field experience.
• Specialized training required and provided.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish trust and rapport quickly.
• Good listening skills with the ability to empathize while providing guidance.

• Starting salary $65,000 per year.
• $12,000 bonus.
