Job Overview

Remote Dose Confirmation Specialist to provide critical after-hours support for emergency dose verification in medication‑assisted treatment (MAT) programs. Ensures uninterrupted access to dosing information for patients during crisis situations.

• Respond to emergency calls from hospitals, OTPs, EMS personnel, and other healthcare providers
• Verify patient dosing history using the SAMMS electronic medical record system
• Confirm the identity and credentials of the requesting party before sharing any information
• Document all interactions according to federal and state regulatory standards
• Maintain strict compliance with privacy laws, including 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and 105 CMR 164
• Participate in periodic training on emergency protocols and secure communications

• Previous experience in healthcare, substance use treatment, or OTP settings
• Familiarity with SAMMS or similar EMR systems
• Must be located in Boston, MA and able to pick up equipment from a facility
• Strong knowledge of confidentiality and privacy regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and written documentation skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight or off‑hour shifts

• This is a remote position, but Boston residency is required for initial equipment pickup and periodic technical support.
• Shifts are scheduled during evenings, weekends, and overnights to ensure 24/7 emergency coverage.
• Role is a 13‑week contract with potential extensions.

Job Type: Full‑time, Contract

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
