Limited Scope Radiology Tech & Medical Assistant – Sign-On
Overview
Sentara Urgent Care is hiring Limited Scope/Certified Medical Assistants for full‑time, part‑time, and flexi roles in Virginia and Elizabeth City. Various locations across Virginia are available. Candidates must hold active LSRT and MA certifications.
All qualified candidates will receive a sign‑on bonus for full‑time and part‑time roles.
ScheduleClinic hours: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday‑Friday;
Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Schedule may vary based on clinic needs.
Medical Assistant:
Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks and procedures based on training and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse. Radiology Tech Limited:
Provide patient care and limited skills in the performance of radiographic examinations within the scope defined by the State Department of Health Professions. May perform limited radiology examinations: chest; extremities, pectoral girdle; skull/sinuses; spine; and, when qualified, abdominal and pelvic radiographic exams.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Trade school graduate or higher education
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification (required)
- Limited Radiology Technician state license as required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
- All certifications must be current at time of hire
Clinical experience preferred.
