Role

The Laboratory Quality Coordinator is responsible for managing processes to support ongoing compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards system-wide. Interfaces and collaborates with leadership, medical, and laboratory staff to establish and implement continuing compliance and survey readiness and to meet accreditation and compliance goals. Researches and clarifies standard compliance requirements while keeping leadership informed on progress.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate quality management activities to ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance across the laboratory operations.
  • Collaborate with leadership, medical and laboratory staff to achieve survey readiness and compliance goals.
  • Research and interpret standard compliance requirements and communicate updates to leadership.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
Certification/Licensure
  • ASCP or AMT certification (required)
Experience
  • 3 years laboratory experience
  • 3 years laboratory quality improvement
  • 3 years laboratory regulatory/compliance
  • 3 years laboratory safety
  • 3 years laboratory accreditation and regulatory
